Play Piano By EarYou
won't find it here...
The package of 12 piano CD's and 10 bonus books that will be rushed to your door (free S&H if you hurry).... the 20 DVD's of piano videos... the promises that you'll be playing piano by ear by next week if you'll only break out that credit card before the AMAZING SPECIAL ends at midnight tonight. If you want to buy CD's, books, and DVD's and fill up your piano bench, do it... but make sure you use them. In fact, I encourage you to go ahead and invest in some of those materials if you must... if they work for you, great. Your success is what I stand for so I have no objection to that. Actually, most people who arrive here have already done that. And I will go so far as to say that there are ear training materials out there that have at least something to offer... But here's where I'm coming from.: Are you getting the results that you want? This is really all that counts, isn't it? Are you able to play piano by ear to some degree? Truthfully, what else matters? Perhaps you have tried a number of different products out there. Only you know, personally, whether or not they delivered what they promised. You see, there is a lot of $$ made from providing hope. There are lots of flashy ads, DVD bubble packs with pictures of people enjoying results... after all, "If they can do it, so can you!" Are they fads? I don't want to say that... because, consistent with what I said earlier, value can be extracted from almost any learning tool. Just about any program designed to help you play piano by ear has contained within it information you can use. But it seems that the problem arising all too often is that the materials simply don't have YOU in mind. If you have tried any of the products out there, does this sound a bit familiar to you? Trust me, in all my years of being involved musically, I've bought book after book... tape after tape (when they were popular)... and., well, you name it. I did gather some helpful tips from many of them, yes. But there was always something missing... ALWAYS. How can I explain it? Let me try... Surely, you have been in a classroom. Let's reflect on the scenario... The teacher is obviously more informed on the subject at hand than you are (hopefully). There are 20-30 students in the room besides you. Things are going well, you're nodding in agreement as the teacher starts rambling some facts that are familiar to you. Then, all of a sudden, you missed something... "wait," your mind spins and secretly cries, "that didn't make sense!" You turn your head to the left and to the right, hoping to find someone as confused as you are on that particular issue. But they all seem to be content and knowing what's being talked about! But what you didn't notice were the times when the other students, when their time came, were doing the same thing when you seemed to be taking it all in with confidence. Each and every student, at one time or another, "lost it" during that "educational speech." Why? Several reasons. For one, each student has his or her strong points of familiarity with the topic at hand, for one... also, the teacher's way of explaining certain issues either "clicks" or it doesn't with people at different times... get the idea? Well, that's kind of how it is when you're reading a method book written to help you with playing music by ear, or listening to or watching an instructional CD or DVD. Certain segments make sense, others don't. But with those, there's another matter at hand I think you can relate to. Getting back to that classroom... what if you were in the wrong class for your level to begin with? Imagine a 2nd grader sitting in a classroom of junior high school students! You know what I'm getting at. That instructional tool is often simply not for you! Maybe a page or two made sense... maybe you tried a few of the exercises... perhaps the DVD demo was entertaining... but where are you days later? Did it pay off? Probably not. |
| This all leads me to
another question... What if the writer of that book you were reading happened to know you very well, including your piano skill level, your knowledge of piano chords, your technical limitations, etc... well, what if that person wrote that book just for you? Wow. Now there's a concept! Practical? Not likely.... But that book would work like magic, would you agree? You bet it would! Well, what if we took this a step further... what if that book was written a paragraph or a page at a time but only after the author (piano teacher) had a chance to get your feedback with the previous page? And wrote that next page to conform to your needs specifically? What if he wrote that page as the perfect follow up to an episode of progress you just experienced? What if you didn't have to hope that this process would work for you, but now you know it is working for you? Wow again. There's a great concept! Possible? Not only is it possible, but I do it every day with people in shoes similar to yours. That's what Hear It Play It! is all about. That is what I do for you. This is one-on-one coaching that gets you results... it has to, because each step of the way is dependent on my understanding you and where you're at. You see, there are no pages of this "book" that you won't understand - if that happens, the page gets rewritten! At Hear It! Play It! it's all about you and your success. No promises that you'll be reaching some unreasonable goal overnight. But you WILL make progress. You WILL move forward. You WILL develop confidence. You WILL have fun with this. So, I have no order button for you to click here at this time... no promises for instant success. Believe me, I know it's fun to click a button, place an order, and wait for the package to arrive. It's like pressing the button on a vendor machine as you await that candy bar to end up in your hands. But I think you will agree that the anticipation and excitement wears off pretty quickly. And after all that, remember what counts... If you truly want to learn to play piano by ear, I have what works. If this interests you, simply let me know. I will get back to you, you can count on it. I am a personal coach who does not delegate his work. That means if you hook up with my services, you get me. So who am I? After you write me, you'll learn all about it. That said, it becomes pretty obvious that I cannot provide this service to everyone. That's another way I differ from the guy sending you the CD's and books... he can have someone ship everything to you and you'll likely never hear from anyone again. I don't have that option, nor do I want it. Please know there are times when I have a waiting list. Seriously, when I take you on, you get plenty of undivided attention from me. If I am currently dealing with more than my quota of individuals, I will be sincere enough to let you know. After all, I'm only good for you if I can devote the time to you and I'm sure you would agree. Please include some information about you and what you want to accomplish. Tell me about your experience. If you have none, just tell me that. If you have some, share as much as you can. I happen to care. Although I may not know you personally, you have to understand that if you do decide to go ahead and take advantage of this unusual opportunity, I will be engaged in a process where I get to know you more and more, so I consider this to be a good start. When I respond to your inquiry, I will give you all the information, including questions that may be going through your mind at this time... the format of the program, how we communicate, what you can expect, and the fee associated with the program that will bring you the results you've wanted all this time. When it comes to playing piano by ear, you have arrived at the right place.
